Almost Here!!!

I just want to write one last blog before the exhibit. Hard to believe that this is almost here. I did 34 trunk shows over the course of the past 10 months plus talks at other different venues. We have had newspaper stories, tv coverage, and magazines do stories about this exhibit and the how these are works of art with the bonus of sharing the culture of the countries from which they come.

It has been a different kind of journey getting ready for this exhibit with the new social media facebook and this blog have been given a whole new way to connect with so many people from different parts of the world. I have had close to 7,000 people view the blog which for a 8 track guy is amazing.

We hope to report during the exhibit that the crowds were large as having 8 to 10 quilters travel to share their wonderful works of art as well as the people who sent us their works here for us to admire.

Every year my greatest worry is that not enough people will come to see the exhibit. I pray that everyone who can will make the effort to attend what is going to be one of the most incredible cultural events we have presented.
