The exhibit that just finished was just wonderful from start to finish. The quilts and quilters from Africa reflected the spirit and culture of the countries from which they came with the amazing works of art that all quilts are.
We had the most amount of non quilters attend this exhibit that we have ever had and they came away with a different view of quilting. We had quilters from all over Ontario and Northern USA come to share the art of quilting.
I am looking forward to bringing quilts from different parts of the world to share culture and spirit with the world. We feel this exhibit can only get bigger as we expand the art and the knowledge of Quilting as a art from expression of the countries that we have.
